ROBERT B. OEHLER is an Organizer, President and Chief Executive Officer and a Board Director of a newly formed bank, Pacific Alliance Bank, headquartered in Rosemead, California.

Mr. Oehler is a veteran banker with over 33 years of banking experience, including serving as President (1997-2004), Director (1997-2005), and Vice Chairman of the Board (2004-2005) of Far East National Bank (FENB). He was an executive with Citibank for 25 years. He was President and CEO of a merchant banking venture, RoboRock LLC, partnering with Nicholas Rockefeller (2005 – 2006).

Mr. Oehler is a founding Board Director of Genesis LA Economic Growth Corporation. He also serves on the Board of Operation Hope and Just Price Solutions, a subsidiary of Neighborhood Housing Services of America. He is a member of Rand Corporation’s Center for Asia-Pacific Policy, and is active with Los Angeles Committee on Foreign Policy and the Pacific Council on International Policy.

Mr. Oehler formerly served on the boards of the California Bankers Association, the National Association of Chinese Bankers, and the International Bankers Association of California.

Mr. Oehler obtained a Masters degree in International Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs of Syracuse University in 1967 and a BA degree in Political Science from Williams College of Williamstown, Massachusetts in 1965.
