Amy Wu was born in Southern California and spent most of her childhood growing up in Monterey Park, California. After graduating with a degree in Finance and minoring at the Collin's School of Hospitality at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, Amy began her career in the hospitality industry, where she currently is managing the Holiday Inn Express in Rosemead, California. She has worked in the hospitality industry for over twelve years in all different departments such as the front desk, accounting and sales. The hotel also employs students and graduates of the Collin's School of Hospitality.
Amy currently serves as the President of the Rosemead Chamber of Commerce and Advisor of the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce - Young Career Adult Group. This past August, Amy received the Business Woman of the Year Award given by Congresswoman Judy Chu of the California's 32nd District.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys travel and new experiences in cultures, arts, and entertainment.
